Samsung has been showing off the Download Booster feature since the release of their latest flagship but some carriers blocked this feature. For those who don’t know, Download Booster combines the use of LTE and Wi-Fi connections to download files faster.
So now, Verizon and AT&T users have the chance to enable this feature, but it’s not yet known if it’s working the way it should. All you need to do is install a third party launcher and create a shortcut to Download Booster to enable it. It may be possible to add a line of code to enable this feature natively (on TouchWiz) but for now this code cannot be added because of the fact that there is currently no root exploit for either device.
