Anyone who use internet knows thaat Google (and other search engines) will suggest several search terms if the algorithm determines that you’ve made a typo or a mistake. At least one user saw that happening on the Android app version of Google Search, and seeing it right before you would expect to: in the drop-down search results that appear before pressing Enter.
This previously unseen feature of Google Search on Android, is interesting because it isn’t present on the web and in Chrome. If you make a mistake using Google Search on your desktop browser, it only appears the results, not the correction in the suggestions. This addition to the Android app version may inform more widespread alterations to come.
Google has been known by experimenting search resuls, and since a huge portion of Google Search for Android’s performance is handled server side, we might never see evidence of any alterations in the app itself. Since we can’t replicate this search result at Android Police, we’re guessing that is another case of Google A/B testing an upcoming feature. It may or may not stick around.
