The Denon HEOS family has new element, the HEOS 1. The Denon HEOS it’s a line of multi-room portable speakers and with this new element the brand unveiles a new approach to the wireless sound. All of this thanks to the optinioal accessory, the Go Pack, a networking column that receives the sound via Bluetooth and can be use by itself.
With this new HEOS 1, Denon didn’t forget the well known sound quality and all the features that their users are used to. This small columm has a compact and sealed box, so if you want to take your HEOS 1 to the bathroom while you are taking a shower that’s possible and the device want breakdown.
But if you have a multi-room environment, this new HEOS 1 can be connected to your network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection, and after that it’s ready to have streaming sound from any available source. Besides this, it also has an USB port that you can use to connect and play music from storage devices, and there is also a mini-jack to connect to any analogue source. To turn on and off and control the volume, this columm also has physical buttons.
The sound quality of the Denon HEOS 1 is ensured through the use of a Class D two-channel amplifier, two “full range” speakers , sophisticated digital processing algorithms (DSP) and an equalization curve specially created for a smooth and natural sound.
But Denon wants to stand out from competion and the functionality of the HEOS 1 Go Pack was a key point. This device engages the bottom of the column a rechargeable battery for up to 6 hours of autonomous reproduction, and a Bluetooth connection. The Bluetooth adapter fits directly in the column USB port and includes a rubber piece that completely seals the columm and makes it splash proof. This is ideal for a pool party!
If you want to see if your HEOS 1 Go Pack as enough battery for another party with your friends, you just have to look at the four LED’s on the bottom of the device. Besides this features, the battery can also be use as a powerbank.
