Xiaomi is planning on announcing a new ‘Note’ device on June 29th.
And because an announcement wasn’t an announcement if there isn’t any leak, here it is! The image you can see here has been leaked by a Twitter account. This could be a capture of a render of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2.
If this is really true, it seems that Xiaomi’s next phablet will have a fingerprint scanner below the rear camera and LED flash. It also seems to have a metal unibody construction, with plastic strips at the top and bottom to accommodate for antennas.
The power and volume buttons will be on the phone’s right side, while the 3.5 mm headset jack will be up top. Another thing we can see in this image is that this device is much more curved than another Xiaomi’s handsets.
Despite this image there aren’t anymore informations, so if you want to know more about specifications we only have somer rumors for you. The Redmi Note 2 will come with a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen, a 13 MP rear camera, a 5 MP selfie snapper, and 4G LTE support. MediaTek’s MT6795 chipset with octa-core CPU should do the heavy lifting.
However, don’t take this image for guarantee since Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed any of this. It seems that we will have to wait for June 29th
