In May, Microsoft announced that it’s digital personal assistant, Cortana, would arrive to Android devices by the end of June. But sometimes deadlines turns out to be kind of shorts and in this case, Cortana (beta version) should arrive to Android not in June but in July.
That makes a bit more sense considering that Windows 10, which is equipped with Cortana, doesn’t launch until the end of that month.
Microsoft did share a little bit some features that you will have access in Cortana. They include the ability to set a reminder to do something at a specific time and get that notification on their Xbox One, too. According to Microsoft, Cortana’s functionality will carry over to other Windows-based devices, and the inclusion of Android as another instrument to access the features therein is a great bonus.
