Motorola has just announced that the Android 5.1 Lollipop soak test is now beginning to roll out to the Moto X (2nd Gen.) for users in Brazil. Soak tests usually don’t last too long, so we’ll likely see a wider rollout sometime in the near future. The company also states that it’s working on bringing the update to multiple other devices, so we’ll need to stay tuned for more information.
One notable improvement you’ll find in the update to Android 5.1, is that you’ll be able to launch the camera by twisting your wrist twice, you’ll now be able to chop twice to activate the flashlight, and chop twice again to turn it off. Motorola says it’s the same motion as chopping an onion with a knife.
Do you think you’ll use the “chop twice for flashlight” motion? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
