The Antutu database has a new entry with impressive results and this entry belongs to the Asus Zenfone 2.
The 50401 score in the screenshot is enough for the Zenfone 2 surpass the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Snapdragon 805, and the Meizu MX4, MediaTek MT6595.
This Zenfone 2 had an Intel Atom Z3580 chipset with a 2.33 GHz Quad Core and a PowerVR G6430 GPU. Just bear in mind that this score was achieved with 2GB of RAM onboard.
The smartphone in question had a 5-inch display with 720p resolution so the chipset has it pretty easy on that category. So one would think that the Meizu, which has 1152×1920 pixels, more than double, has to do double the work, and the Note 4, which has a QHD display has 4 times more work.
So all in all it is a good achievement for the Atom and that is what Intel needs to do in order to fight for a more prominent position on the Android realm.
