Android 5.0 Lollipop is known for several things and some of them are not for the good reason and severe memory leak that causes app crashes and launcher redraws, due to the device memory filled and failed to clear. So, when Android 5.1 Lollipop was annunced many of us hoped that the issue would finally be resolved.
It has been “fixed internally”, says a source from Google. This issue about memory leak was the 34th issue in the issue tracker’s list! Although, the problem it’s fixed there is no “timeline tfor public realease”, says the same source.
No matter the version of Android that will be available to users but we hope that this issue don’t take to long to be released!
