A few weeks ago Google has announced his new version of OS, Android 5.1, and now some Nexus 5 devices are running an Android 5.1.1 Lollipop version. It’s odd that the first proves came from a device that’s offically over.
The improvements of this Android version are unkwon, but the update will sure have a minor updates just like has happen when the firmware update to Android 5.0 Lollipop was released. The Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update to Nexus 5 was related to battery improvements, management of RAM memory and some issues with several apps.
This update can be related with the memory leak that several users have reported since the last update to Android 5.1 Lollipop. The memory leak forbid the smartphone to use more than 1GB of RAM, of the 2 that has. One more time Google wants to please Nexus users , but for now we must wait for the feedback from users to see how these Android 5.1.1 Lollipop behaves.
