The GS5 flagship which was launched last year is rumored to get the Neo variant of it. Recently spotted on the Wi-Fi certification a S5 variant that brings up that it might be the confirmation that we all wanted.
Since its a Wi-Fi certification it doesn’t say much about the rebooted flagship but we know that the model number is the SM-G903F which indicated that it is probably the S5 Neo variant.
Last month , the alleged S5 Neo was pre-ordered with a price tag of $490 in Czech Republic and with the shipping date around July 3 , but the Wi-Fi certification says July 6 , so there’s definetly something fishy here…
As far as we know , the Galaxy S5 Neo is powered by a 2,800mAh battery to feed the Exynos 7580 SoC 64-bit octa-core CPU clocked to 1.6GHz and a Mali-T720 GPU.
Like the S6 , the phone will feature a 5MP ‘selfie’ camera and that’s it, the other specs will remain the same as the good old S5 , a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with 1920×1080 resolution , 2GB RAM , 16GB of internal memory and a 16MP rear camera.
The report also says that the Neo variand will have two variants , a single-SIM and a dual-SIM , both featuring LTE-A connectivity and running 5.1 Android out of the box.
